The Required Educational Qualifications For Candidates
Passed four subjects in any subject stream with three credit passes(C) and one simple pass (S)
Passed three subjects in any subject stream with two credit passes(C) and one simple pass (S)
Should have passed this examination with Credit passes(C) in English and Sinhala/Tamil subjects.
Minimus is 17 and There is no age limit for the applicants.
Examination Procedure
The Sri Lanka Law Entrance Exam has three separate papers, but the language options for each paper can be confusing. Here’s a breakdown to clarify:
Language Paper (3 hours): Choose English OR Sinhala OR Tamil. Tests your skills in the chosen language (grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, writing).
Total Marks Will Be 100. (Minimum Marks – 50/100)
General Knowledge Paper (1 hour): Tests your knowledge of Sri Lankan and world history, current affairs, geography, civics, and general science.
· If you chose English for the Language in Paper , you must take General Knowledge Paper in Sinhalaor Tamil.
· If you chose Sinhala or Tamil for the Language Paper, you must take General Knowledge Paper in English.
60 Question (40 MCQ questions and 20 structured questions)
Total Marks Will Be 50.
General Intelligence Paper (1 hour): Tests your logical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
· If you chose English for the Language in Paper , you must take General Intelligence Paper in Sinhala or Tamil.
· If you chose Sinhala or Tamil for the Language Paper, you must take General Intelligence Paper in English.
60 MCQ Questions
Total Marks Will Be 50.
(Minimum Marks for total of General Knowledge and General Intelligence – 50/100)

Selection Process
Average Number of Enrollment: 220 -250 Students
Merit Matters: Your performance in the entrance examination will be the primary factor determining your selection. If you make the cut, you’ll be invited for an interview to assess your communication skills and suitability for the program.
